The world today is a massive rattrap with all the people in a fictional rat race. The world they live in is their own little worlds, full of problems that are created not by nature, but due to the fake and unnatural environment surrounding them. They wake up, engage in their respective professions and then spend the rest of their time brooding over these unnecessary problems.

Life in this world only heaps more and more pressure and mental trauma on the typical human. This adversely affects their health bringing about in them, a variety of medical concerns. They also tend to miss out on most of the joys that life has to offer them. While being caught up in their own lives and worlds, then tend to neglect their spouses and families. This is setting a very dangerous precedent as the life expectancies of people all over the world are decreasing while family ties are becoming increasingly loose all over the world.

What is important is for people to take breaks regularly, from this artificial world and to spend some of the time in the real one. Regular breaks and holidays gives them a relaxed state of mind and keeps them fresh and fit. Imagine how enticing it would be for the mind to spend the day camping in summer in one of those places far off from the city hustle and bustle. Or even imagine sitting huddled up in a warm cotton blanket, reading a book that you always have wanted to read!

Longer holidays taken regularly are a must as one gets to spend quality time with the entire family in a beautiful place away from one’s daily routine. What adds to the significance of these holidays is the experience one gets from going to different places and meeting new people. For, as they say, the goldfish can grow only as big as the bowl allows it to.

It should, therefore be imperative in the lives of everyone to plan regular breaks and holidays, to take some of the stresses and pressures off their minds.
